This year’s tournament was a sell out! This event is growing each year making it one of our most successful fundraisers. Thanks to all who made the day fun and who contributed to helping to Make Melanoma a Memory.
The Clara Barton School in Cherry Hill will hold a Melanoma Awareness Day on May 16th from 9:00-11:00 AM. There will be free skin screenings and a UV camera at the event plus free melanoma material and sun screen to hand out.

PSMRF made its annual melanoma presentation to the second year medical
students at University of Pennsylvania. The presentation was facilitated by
Dr. Lynn Schuchter the head of the hematology and oncology departments.. A
check was presented that will help underwrite a Melanoma Conference in May,
to support research projects, and to help pay the salary of a melanoma
clinical trial manager at the Abramson Cancer Center.

PSMRF and The Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club collaborated on a melanoma awareness and skin
screening day. Participants were able to spend some time using the up-to-date work-out facility, Skin screenings were performed by
Dr. John D’Meilia of Cancer Care of South Jersey. The event was very well attended and deemed a great success.
